šŸ–ļø Five Indiana Events to Experience in August šŸ–ļø

Friday-Sunday, Aug. 1-17: Indiana State Fair
šŸ“Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis

This one is a no-brainer — few events during the calendar year are as big as the Indiana State Fair at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Circle City. It all begins today and continues through Sunday, August 17 (closed on Mondays).

The 168th edition of the state fair is themed as the ā€œSoundtrack of Summerā€ to encourage fair-goers to turn up the volume and turn on the memories. There are free stage concerts, grandstand events, livestock shows, competitions, and don’t even get us started on the foo—okay, the food is going to crush. Who’s up for a Bacon Honeybun Burger, Sweet Heat Sausage Sandwich, and Brunch Mary or Mimosa? 🤤

Saturday, Aug. 9: Bloom Fest
šŸ“Riverside Gardens Park in Leo-Cedarville

The 8th Annual Bloom Fest is a celebration of local arts and nature set for Saturday, August 9, at Riverside Gardens Park in Leo-Cedarville northeast of Fort Wayne.

Last year there were over 150 local artists featured, and the event also included artisans, nonprofits, plant starts, food trucks, activities for the kids, and live music.

If you want to enter as a vendor or artist, email [email protected]. Otherwise, attendance is free for you to enjoy the festivities yourself.

Friday-Sunday, Aug. 15-17: LIV Golf Hits Indiana for the First Time Ever
šŸ“The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield

Get ready, Westfield. The 2025 LIV Golf Individual Championship is coming to The Club at Chatham Hills, and it’s more than just golf.

Two huge concerts included with your ticket:

  • Riley Green - Friday, August 15 at 5 p.m.

  • Jason Derulo - Saturday, August 16 at 4 p.m.

That’s three days of elite competition (Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson, anyone?) over 54 holes, plus two massive shows, all in one weekend. Whether you’re chasing the leaderboard or just here to vibe, this is one of Indiana’s biggest events of the year — Indiana hasn’t hosted a golf major since 1991.
