The Region

Autumn Promenade | Oct. 4 | Valparaiso - Downtown Valparaiso’s Autumn Promenade invites visitors to stroll for fall-themed treats, shop specials and small-town seasonal fun from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Crown Point Oktoberfest | Oct. 4 | Crown Point - Bulldog Park’s family-friendly Oktoberfest features live music, German food, a beer garden, hayrides, contests and kids’ activities; free admission, event runs from noon to 10 p.m.

Portage Harvest Festival | Oct. 4 | Portage - Founder’s Square hosts a one-day community harvest festival with live music, food vendors, family activities and local artisans from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Community Fall Fest at Sunset Hill Farm | Oct. 5 | Valparaiso - Free community fall festival with hayrides, family activities and local vendors hosted at Sunset Hill Farm County Park.

Michiana

First Friday / Biennial 33 & Women’s Caucus Reception | Oct. 3 | South Bend - The South Bend Museum of Art will host the Biennial 33 and Women’s Caucus reception with artist talks and openings from 5–8 p.m.

Harvest Festival: October First Fridays | Oct. 3 | Goshen - Enjoy a pumpkin decorating contest, Halloween fun, live entertainment, and seasonal food and drinks .

South Bend - “First Fridays: Fall” | Oct. 3 | South Bend - Downtown South Bend’s monthly First Friday event features gallery openings, live music, dining specials and kid-friendly activities from 5–9 p.m.

Ghost Tours at the Old Jail Museum | Oct. 3–4 | Warsaw - Test your spook level with evening paranormal/haunted tours through the 1870 Old Jail Museum; tickets available in advance or at the door (age limits apply). This is the second of three weekends Ghost Tours are available.

Downtown Warsaw Fashion Weekend / Sip-N-Shop | Oct. 3–5 | Warsaw - A downtown weekend of pop-up shopping, evening Sip-N-Shop and family activities for fall weekend visitors.

47th Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibit | Oct. 4-6 | Elkhart - The Midwest Museum of American Art opens its juried regional exhibition with new works from Michiana artists; on view through the winter.

Northeast

Corn School Festival | Sept. 30–Oct. 4 | LaGrange - One of Indiana’s oldest street festivals includes parades, carnival rides, talent shows, food vendors, vegetable exhibits and evening entertainment across downtown LaGrange.

Botanical Brew | Oct. 3 | Fort Wayne - An adults-friendly evening at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory sampling coffee, beer, cider, mead and more with music, vendors and a relaxed downtown vibe.

Columbia City First Friday | Oct. 3 | Columbia City - First Friday downtown with live music, food trucks, late-night shopping and family activities to celebrate the season.

Wizarding Wabash | Oct. 3 | Wabash - Wabash’s First Friday of October brings live music, local art, food vendors and shop specials — a quick, family-friendly downtown night out.

Central Indiana

Indy Metro

Headless Horseman Festival | Oct. 2–5 | Fishers - Haunted hayrides, fire art, fall midway games, storytelling and immersive seasonal experiences at Conner Prairie.

Apple Mash Dash Cider 5K | Oct. 4 | Avon - Seasonal 5K run complete with a costume contest, hayrides and cider (or hard cider) to sip on after the race.

Broad Ripple Oktoberfest | Oct. 4 | Indianapolis - Get ready to raise a stein in the beer garden, listen to live music and eat local while the kids enjoy their own forms of entertainment in Broad Ripple behind The Vogue Indianapolis. Event runs from 2-10 p.m.; proceeds benefit the Eight Eleven Foundation.

Harvest Time Hayrides | Oct. 4 | Avon - Wagon rides around the lake, vendor market, pumpkin patch, bounce houses and live music.

Potter’s Bridge Fall Festival | Oct. 4 | Noblesville - More than 100 vendors, live music, food trucks, a kid zone, and scenic views of the historic Potter’s Bridge; event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hendricks County Heartland Apple Festival | Oct. 4–5 | Danville - Beasley’s Orchard hosts its annual apple festival & craft fair. Festgoers can navigate a corn maze, shoot apple cannons, listen to live entertainment and more.

Russell Farms Country Fall Festival | Oct. 4–5 | Noblesville - Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, bounce house, fall decor, and family fun in a farm setting.

West Central

Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb | Oct. 3–5 | Newport - Antique cars, trucks and motorcycles race up steep Main Street; festivities include music, market vendors and car displays.

East Central

Community Christian School 5K | Oct. 4 | Richmond - The CCS 5K runs through the Glen Miller Golf Course and supports CCS students and staff.

Southern Indiana

Southwest

FoDU 5K for Hope | Oct. 4 | Evansville - This 5K run helps raise funds for Fields of Dreams Uganda and its ongoing work in Uganda that serves over 5,000 students and teachers.

West Side Nut Club Fall Festival | Oct. 5–11 | Evansville - Enjoy a massive street festival with carnival rides, food booths, parades, and entertainment.

South Central

52nd Annual Oktoberfest | Oct. 2–4 | Seymour - Enjoy a biergarten, food vendors, carnival, parade, and entertainment including a hot air balloon glow and race.

Bloomfield Apple Festival | Oct. 3–5 | Bloomfield - A wiffle ball tournament, pet parade, kiddie tractor pull, queen contest, baking contest, carnival rides and more.

Southeast

Sellersburg Fall Festival & Craft Market | Oct. 4 | Sellersburg - Arts & crafts, local vendor booths, food trucks and family activities; free to attend.

Harvest Homecoming Festival | Oct. 4–12 | New Albany - This annual fall festival includes crafts, food booths, entertainment, parades and contests.
