The Region

Haunted Highland Restaurant Crawl and Trunk-or-Treat | Oct. 28 | Highland - Trunk-or-treat along Highway Avenue, enjoy $7 food specials and listen to spooky stories in the garden. Crawl runs from 4-8 p.m.

Quilt Along at the La Porte County Public Library | Oct. 28 | La Porte - Held of the fourth Tuesday of every month, the October edition of Quilt Along will introduce a new block pattern for adults to enjoy. Donated fabric will be available, or guests may bring in their own fabric and upcycled fabric from clothing. Event runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Spooky Salsa Night | Oct. 29 | Portage - Make your way to the Marina Shore Yacht Club for a Halloween-themed Salsa night. Costumes encouraged, cocktails and dinner available, fun guaranteed. Lesson begins at 5:45 p.m.

Boo at the ‘Boo | Oct. 31 | Lake Station - Get to Bellaboo’s Play and Discovery Center for a not-so-spooky day of fun and frights. Event features a Spooky Snack Lab, Jack-o-Lantern Hijinks, Goblin Games and more. Costumes encouraged. Event is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Prepping for Winter at the Buckley Homestead | Nov. 1 | Lowell - Head to Buckley Homestead to learn about the historical aspects of preparing for winter. This is the last chance to see the animals before they move into their winter homes. Open from 1-5 p.m.; free to attend.

Pumpkin Smash Bash | Nov. 1 | Fair Oaks - One day after Halloween, find yourself smashing pumpkins at Fair Oaks Farms. Guests can also enjoy seasonal drinks, food and games. Runs from 12-4 p.m.; included with admission.

Michiana

South Bend Police Department Cops & Goblins Treat Night | Oct. 28 | South Bend - Slide into the South Bend Cubs’ Four Winds Field for SBPD’s annual trick-or-treating in the ballpark! Event is from 5-7:30 p.m.; free to attend.

Halloween Swing Dance Party | Oct. 30 | South Bend - Dress up in costume and join Vintage Swing South Bend for a night of dancing to spooky hits at The Hammer & Quill! The dance party runs from 7-10 p.m.; cover charge is $10 at the door.

Haunted Hatha Yoga | Oct. 31 | Elkhart - Step on your mat if you dare for a hauntingly good Hatha yoga session at The Yoga Realm. Enjoy a spooky soundtrack, candlelit ambiance and Halloween twists to calm the restless spirits. Costumes encouraged. Session is from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; $33 per person or included with membership.

TGIF Halloween Party | Oct. 31 | South Bend - The Century Center Convention Center is hosting its annual TGIF Halloween Party with a DJ spinning tracks, full bar and prizes for the scariest, funniest and most creative costumes. The party is from 7 p.m.-1 a.m.; tickets are $17.35.

Northeast

Old Fort Cluster Dog Show | Oct. 30-Nov. 2 | Fort Wayne - This annual event hosted by the Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club returns to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum for four days of breed judging, obedience competitions and special attractions like “Meet the Breeds.” Show is from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily; free to attend.

DABA Trick-or-Treating | Oct. 31 | Auburn - Downtown Auburn businesses will be decked out for Halloween trick-or-treating from 4-6 p.m. Free to attend.

Fright on 4th: A Halloween Cabaret | Oct. 31 | Fort Wayne - Come for the chills and stay for the thrills while a talented cast conjures up your favorite spooky songs at the Three Rivers Music Theatre. Show is from 8-10 p.m.; tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults.

Twilight in Concert | Oct. 31 | Fort Wayne - Experience the legendary romance saga with an epic film-to-concert event at Embassy Theatre. This cinematic live experience begins at 7:30 p.m.; tickets start below $50.

Central Indiana

Indy Metro

Mall-O-Ween | Oct. 29 | Greenwood - Enjoy trick-or-treating at participating retailers within the Greenwood Park Mall. Event is from 6-8 p.m.; free to attend.

A Prairie-Normal Evening | Oct. 30-31 | Fishers - Is Conner Prairie haunted? Find out for yourself! Hear stories of strange happenings on the prairie grounds before using your own digital recorders and EMFs to conduct an investigation. Afterwards, enjoy light refreshments while sharing evidence collected. Thursday, 9 p.m.-midnight; Friday, 10 p.m.-1 a.m. $40 for members, $45 for non-members.

Scare on the Square | Oct. 31 | Indianapolis - Engage with merchants and partners while trick-or-treating throughout the Virginia Avenue corridor in Fountain Square and Fletcher Place. Event runs from 4:30-7 p.m.; free to attend.

IHSAA Soccer State Finals | Oct. 31-Nov. 1 | Indianapolis - Enjoy a Halloween doubleheader with the boys Class 2A (6 p.m.) and Class 1A (8:30 p.m.) championships. 1A girls (11 a.m.), 2A girls (1:30 p.m.), 3A boys (4 p.m.) and 3A girls (6:30 p.m.) are on day two. $15 per person per day, kids 5 and under free. Get tickets for Friday here or Saturday here.

Dia De Los Muertos | Nov. 1-2 | Danville - Celebrate the Day of the Dead at Beasley’s Orchard with fall activities. Open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $14, kids 2 and under free.

The Nightmare Before Christmas | Nov. 2 | Indianapolis - Head to the Tobias Theater at Newfields for a one-night-only screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas, plus exclusive access to Harvest Nights where you can experience a sneak peek of Winterlights. Doors open at 4 p.m., screening begins at 5 p.m. and Harvest Nights starts at 6:30 p.m. Advance tickets required and open to all ages.

West Central

Dead End Cemetery Halloween Light Show | Oct. 28-31 | Lafayette - Head to 2684 Tristan Drive to see a Halloween-themed light show with music synchronized on 93.3 FM. Shows run from 7-9 p.m. today through Thursday and from 7-9:30 p.m. on Halloween.

IHSAA Cross Country State Finals | Nov. 1 | Terre Haute - Get to the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course for the state championships. The 250-acre complex is known as Cross Country Town, USA, having hosted 15 national championships. It was designed with spectators in mind, allowing you to experience the entire race from start to finish. First race starts at noon, and the last race begins at 2:30 p.m.

Indiana Fall Classic | Nov. 1 | Terre Haute - Register for the 36th Annual Indiana Fall Classic the day of the race. The 1-mile run/walk begins at 9:30 a.m., and the 10K starts at 10:10 a.m. Wind through beautiful Hawthorn Park during the run.

Samhain Forest & Campfire Mini-Retreat at the Romona Oolitic Stone Henge on the Celtic Glen Family Farm | Nov. 1 | Spencer - Enjoy campfire yoga, sound baths, nature connection, hot tea/cider, Irish Samhain bread and more. Retreat is from 6-9 p.m.; tickets are $40.

East Central

Fangtastic Fall Festival | Oct. 30 | Richmond - Make your way to the Morrisson-Reeves Library for a fun trick-or-treating adventure. Event is from 5-6:30 p.m.; free to attend.

Mrs. Doubtfire Musical Comedy | Oct. 30 | Muncie - Escape to Emens Auditorium to see everyone’s favorite Scottish nanny, Mrs. Doubtfire, in an entertaining musical. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.; tickets start at $39.

Southern Indiana

Southwest

We Can BOO It! | Oct. 28-31 | Evansville - Celebrate the spooky season at the Evansville Wartime Museum with festive activities like a skeleton scavenger hunt and hangar graveyard display. Kids who complete the hunt will receive a treat bag.

Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween Latin Party | Oct. 31 | Evansville - Dress in costume for a chance to win prizes at Evansville Latin Dance’s 3rd Annual Halloween Party at City View at Sterling Square. Event is from 10 p.m.-3 a.m.; $30 cover for ages 18-20 and $20 for 21 and older.

Tom Papa Comedy Show | Nov. 2 | Jasper - Actor, host and author Tom Papa has more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian. Catch his show at the Jasper Arts Center starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors and $25 for students.

South Central

Haunted Hall of Hoops | Oct. 30 | Bloomington - Enjoy this free trick-or-treating event with your kids at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on the IU campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with players from both the IU men’s and women’s basketball teams arriving at 6 p.m. to hand out candy, take photos and sign autographs.

Alleyween Party | Oct. 31 | Nashville - Bring your family and furry friends for an evening of candy, costumes and community in downtown Nashville’s Antique Alley during Squash the Block. The party includes karaoke, treats and games for all ages while the shops stay open late. Event is from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Local Clay Potters’ Guild 27th Annual Holiday Show | Oct. 31-Nov. 1 | Bloomington - Check out the pottery work of 20 studio artists at the Monroe County Convention Center. Exhibit is open from 4-9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown | Nov. 1-2 | Bloomington - Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang with a timeless classic in musical form at the Waldron Arts Center/Auditorium. Ticket prices range from $18-33.

Southeast

Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D | Oct. 29 | Jeffersonville - Catch a showing of Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D at Xscape Theatres. This one-night-only presentation starts at 6:45 p.m.

Costumes & Cocktails | Oct. 30 | Jeffersonville - Come in costume for a chance to win prizes. Enjoy vinyl sets by DJ Matt Anthony, a Rocky Horror tribute by Chick Falcon’s Band, a full bar by The Alcove, food courtesy of Papu Chos and boutique shopping. The New Albany Wicked Walk Walking Tour: All Saints Day Tour | Nov. 1 | New Albany - Learn about actual documented historical events on a downtown tour of New Albany that includes stories of crimes, ghostly hauntings and more.
