The Region

Chair Yoga | Nov. 7 | Schererville - Improve your flexibility, balance, and calm, all with the help of a chair for support. Hosted at the St. John Township Community Center from 9-9:45 a.m. Register early; $13 per person.

Dane Cook Stand-Up Comedy | Nov. 8 | Gary - Actor and comedian Dane Cook is known for his legendary stand-up comedy specials. His content has been streamed over 1 million times worldwide, and this is your chance to see him live. Show begins at 7 p.m. at Hard Rock Live Northern Indiana. Open to ages 21 and older. Tickets.

Owl Prowl: Stoney Run County Park | Nov. 8 | Hebron - Venture into the woods from 6-7 p.m. at Stoney Run to search for owls. Open to ages 5 and older; $2 per person. Pre-registration is required. Call (219) 844-3188.

Family Fun Day at the Trailyard | Nov. 9 | Valparaiso - Who’s up for a Sunday Funday? Enjoy live music, fall activities, pumpkin painting, and games including pumpkin bowling. Event is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; free admission.

Wreath-Making Class | Nov. 9 | Michigan City - Stop by Shady Creek Winery for a DIY class to create your own holiday wreath. Materials included with a glass of wine. Class is from 1-3 p.m.

Michiana

Flannel Formal | Nov. 7 | Mishawaka - Attention LumberJacks and LumberJanes — Flannel Formal is back at the Ball Band Biergarten in Ironworks Plaza for live music and drinks supplied by Sun King around the fire. Formal is from 7-10 p.m. 21+ only event; admission is $10, commemorative mug included while supplies last.

Goshen Light Parade | Nov. 7 | Goshen - We’re losing daylight, so flip the switch and enjoy a spectacle of lighted floats illuminating the night on Main Street. Downtown eateries will be serving soups and beverages to warm the soul. Event runs from 5-9 p.m.; parade begins at 7:30 p.m.

Rudy Ruettiger Meet & Greet | Nov. 7 | South Bend - Celebrate 50 years of Rudy Ruettiger’s iconic play that inspired the movie “Rudy” and moved millions by meeting the man himself at the legendary Corby’s Irish Pub. Autograph session runs from 6-8 p.m. $50 entry (walk-up sales only); one autograph and photo op per person. Photos, jerseys, and other collectibles also available for purchase at the event.

Urban Golf Open House | Nov. 5 | Fort Wayne - Hosted on the second floor at The Fairfield, swing by Urban Golf’s open house to experience its state-of-the-art golf simulators. This is your chance to practice and learn about Urban Golf’s offers, including lessons and member perks. Enjoy half-off wine bottles and whiskey pours. Event is from 5-8 p.m.; free to attend.

The Fab Four - The Ultimate Tribute to the Beatles | Nov. 6 | Shipshewana - Experience the Emmy Award-winning Fab Four at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.; tickets available for all ages.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! | Nov. 7 | Fort Wayne - The historic Embassy Theatre welcomes Gabby’s Dollhouse to the US for the first time ever! Perfect Show starts at 6 p.m.. Tickets.

Christmas, Vintage & Craft Bazaar | Nov. 7-8 | Shipshewana - Start your holiday shopping early from dozens of vendors at the Michiana Event Center. Event is from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. $5 admission for 15+, 14 and under get in free.

Veterans Day Parade & Dedication Ceremony | Nov. 8 | Fort Wayne - Honor those who have served our country. Parade begins on Parnell Avenue and travels north to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Parade begins at 11 a.m., ceremony to follow in Memorial Hall; free to attend.

Central Indiana

Indy Metro

Forty5’s Annual Bourbon Tasting at Turntable | Nov. 5 | Indianapolis - Experience an unforgettable evening of music, food, bourbon, and fun. Sip more than 50 bourbons and whiskeys and enjoy the debut of WhistlePig Rye Whiskey (bottles available for purchase in limited supply). All guests must be 21+.

Dexter and the Moonrocks Concert | Nov. 7 | Indianapolis - Rock out with the alternative band Dexter and the Moonrocks at Old National Centre. Concert starts at 8 p.m.

Christmas Nights of Lights | Nov. 7-10 | Indianapolis - Starting Friday and running nightly through Dec. 31, enjoy the annual Christmas Nights of Lights at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This is Indy’s largest drive-thru light show synchronized to music on your car radio! Tickets required.

IHSAA Girls Volleyball State Finals | Nov. 8 | Indianapolis - Watch the 1A (11 a.m.), 2A (1:30 p.m.), 3A (4:30 p.m.), and 4A (7 p.m.) girls volleyball championship matches in succession at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first time. Ticket purchase is good for all four games.

ISSMA State Marching Band Finals | Nov. 8 | Indianapolis - This annual event has been held at Lucas Oil Stadium each year since it opened in 2008. Enjoy performances from 42 of Indiana’s finest high school marching bands competing for glory. Gates open at 9 a.m.; admission is $25 for adults, $20 for students and preschoolers.

West Central

Fall Craft Fair & Chili Supper | Nov. 7-8 | Terre Haute - Take the family to Memorial United Methodist Church for a chili supper and craft fair from 4-7 p.m. on Friday. The craft fair continues Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Free will donation for the chili supper, craft fair is free to attend.

Artisan Christmas Market at Heritage Farm | Nov. 8-9 | Flora - Stroll the grounds of Heritage Farm as you shop 25 artisan booths in heated tents and barns. The alpaca store will be open, too, along with live music, food trucks, beer and wine, and kids activities! Market runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. $10 per car.

East Central

Ball State Symphony Orchestra | Nov. 6 | Muncie - Stop by the Sursa Performance Hall on Ball State’s campus for a live performance by the flagship ensemble of the School of Music. Performance is 7:30-9 p.m.; advance tickets available to public for $8 / $10 at the door.

Holiday Marketplace | Nov. 7-8 | Richmond - Shop local for the holidays at the First Bank Kuhlman Center. Marketplace is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.

Charlotte’s Web Play | Nov. 7-9 | Richmond - The Children’s Literature Association proclaimed “the best American children’s book of the past 200 years” as “Charlotte’s Web.” See it as a play at the Richmond Civic Theatre. Performances at 7:30 p.m. on Friday-Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Christmas in Pendleton | Nov. 8 | Pendleton - Ring in the start of the holiday season at ‘Christmas Around the World.’ Kids can enjoy train rides, face painting, meet reindeer and Santa, and eat s’mores at Nellie Fayes. Adults can browse from over 100 vendors. End the evening with an illuminated parade downtown, traditional snowball fight at Falls Park and tree lighting! Event is from 12-6 p.m.

Southern Indiana

Southwest

The Fab Four: The Ultimate Tribute to The Beatles | Nov. 5 | Evansville – Catch the Emmy-winning Beatles tribute show at Victory Theatre. Great for fans and families. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets.

The 21st Annual Pumpkin Shootout | Nov. 7-9 | Evansville - Pumpkins and disc golf collide all weekend. Pumpkin carving on Friday, casual and competitive disc golf on Saturday followed by draw doubles glow round lit up by the pumpkins. Main event Sunday bringing 52 pros and 128 amateurs to the course to compete. Hours vary.

Warren Zeiders: Relapse, Lies & Betrayals Tour | Nov. 8 | Evansville – Country/alt-country show at the Ford Center. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets.

South Central

Christmas Tree-Making with Eva Mancini | Nov. 7 | Bloomington - Make your own Christmas tree out of clay — no experience necessary. Tree will be ready to be painted in two weeks. Materials and firings included. 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. sessions available; $25 per tree. Register.

St. Agnes Christmas & Craft Bazaar | Nov. 7-8 | Nashville - Shop handcrafted Christmas decor and gifts, paper crafts, baked goods, stained glass creations, wreaths, decorated tree, gift baskets, and more.

Goat Yoga at Upland Brewing | Nov. 8 | Bloomington - Want to hold a baby goat or practice yoga with goats? Enjoy 45 minutes of beginners Vinyasa Flow Yoga in Upland’s beer garden. Session includes a selfie with a goat in a custom photo booth.

Christmas Open House | Nov. 6 | New Albany - Browse Christmas collections at The Mercantile New Albany from 3-8 p.m. Refreshments and small gift provided.

MadHop Music Festival | Nov. 7-8 | Madison - This two-day festival features 36 bands across eight stages covering almost every genre. Tickets.

Once in a Generation Celebration | Nov. 7-8 | Jeffersonville - This two-day celebration honors Schimpff’s Confectionery and it being named #1 candy store in America with speeches, street festivities, family fun, and the passing of the torch to a 5th generation owner. Free 2 oz. red hots for every purchase made.

Holiday Craft Market | Nov. 8 | Sellersburg - Shop till you drop from over 75 vendor booths at the Life Center. Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Free to attend.
